
Fundamentals – October Series
For those new to yoga or those looking for a refresh. Improve range of motion, increase flexibility, and find better balance through functional movements, and learn about what yoga means on and off the mat. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions and will leave feeling prepared for drop-in classes and confident in your ability to move safely in your practice in the studio or at home.
This 4-Week Series will focus on four main themes:
Oct 1 – Week 1: Welcome, Sun Salutations
Oct 8 – No class (Thanksgiving weekend)
Oct 15 – Week 2: Fundamentals Standing Postures
Oct 22 – Week 3: Fundamentals Folds and Backbends
Oct 29 – Week 4: Twists and Mini Flow
Each week will include an arrival meditation, fundamental breath work, Weekly theme and a closing relaxing posture and meditation.
