About the studio 330 community
Studio 330 is a holistic yoga center in downtown Kingston. Here you will find an authentic, yet contemporary yoga experience. Our studio community honours the roots of the practice but are also aware that these are modern times. Meditation, mindfulness and other more traditional aspects play an as important role as do anatomical knowledge and a sense of humour in this modern and accessible approach.
The style of yoga offered at studio 330 is often called Vinyasa Yoga. Vinyasa means “to place in a special way” and describes a dynamic practice where poses are linked to each other in an intelligent sequence. However, you will quickly notice the variety of teaching styles and passion our instructors bring to every class.
You will find classes for all levels, from absolute beginners to experienced practitioners who want to deepen their skills and challenge themselves, as well as Ashtanga yoga in the tradition of Sri K. Patthabi Jois, gentle yin and restorative classes and meditation. Inspired by the legendary Indian yoga master T. Krishnamacharya. We believe that yoga is a highly individual affair—so all are welcome to take what works for you.
Alongside our regular classes there are inspiring workshops, unique events, the annual Groove Gathering, and we are constantly looking to provide you with additional wonderful experiences to broaden your practice.
Whether you’re dropping into Kingston for one class, a member at the studio for over a decade, or looking for the right place to deepen your practice with specialized workshops and events, studio330 is the place for those aspiring to lead healthy, mindful lives through yoga.
Brigitte Bill2024-06-07A calm, beautiful, sun filled space; friendly and knowledgeable teachers.Michael Cooke2024-05-16Why five stars? Intimate setting. Small classes. Personalized teaching. Convenient downtown location. Great variety --- for example, last night I attended Jill's Yin class again --- slow, deliberate teaching, clear instruction and, for savasanna, she played her cello and sent healing vibrations through my whole being. And great value for my annual membership --- about $5 a class. Give it a try!Benn Van Ryn2024-03-05Great vibeJohanna MacKinnon2024-02-29great class wonderful atmosphere, welcoming attitude, happy peoplesaroya h-m2024-02-02peace & loveNatasha Duchene2024-01-12I've tried a bunch of times in my life to get into yoga, but it just never clicked. That is, until I found these wonderful folks. Great teachers, lovely classes, and especially welcoming and warm to folks who are new to yoga. I actually came to this studio while recovering from a brain injury and had lost a lot of my previous strength and overall fitness. They provided a space where I could gently begin to move again and where I truly felt safe to stay within my edges. When I got stronger, there were classes for me to grow into. I've sadly moved away, but I've maintained my practice and will definitely be dropping in for classes whenever I'm back in Kingston. Love you guys!Annette B2023-10-12Excellent teachers and a welcoming community. My first class was a free community class on Thursday’s. It’s exactly what I’m looking for in a yoga studio; bright, airy and a meditative ambiance. I’m signed up for the sound bath tomorrow!Cath Abbott2023-07-24Love it! fantastic mix of teachers and classes plus accessibility is amazing with most classes both in studio and zoom. I’m out of town so mostly by zoom - have experienced huge growth in my at home yoga practice since joining 8 months ago. So awesome thank you Nathan et al!
